"Patience"
"Patience" is a nonfiction prose poem that was selected to be published in the Stonesthrow Review, the SUNY New Paltz literary magazine. It discusses the experience of being transgender and the frustration with barriers to getting medical treatment.

"Commuting on the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail"
This article was written for the Wallkill Valley Land Trust, the organization that maintains the Wallkill Valley Rail Trail near New Paltz, New York. It is a news story about people that commute via the rail trail, mostly by bicycle, and it involved interviews with commuters both in person and over the phone. The article was published on their website and in their newsletter.

Senior Honors Thesis:
"The Migration"
This project involved writing the first ten chapters of a fantasy/science fiction novel called "The Migration," and it was written for the SUNY New Paltz honors program's senior thesis requirement. It took about a year of brainstorming, worldbuilding, writing, workshopping, and editing with the help of two advisors to complete. The project also included supplementary materials, such as a map and character drawings.
