My name is Jay Porcelli (they/them) and I'm a nonbinary writer from New Jersey. My favorite genres to read and write are magical realism, fantasy, and science fiction. I graduated from SUNY (State University of New York) New Paltz in May 2022 with a degree in English with a concentration in Creative Writing, as well as minors in Philosophy and Computer Science. After college, I hiked the entire Appalachian Trail, backpacking 2,193 miles from Maine to Georgia, starting June 5th and ending January 15th. I documented my journey on Instagram at @jayserafin_hikes, and all the nature photos on this website were taken by me during my time on trail. In addition to writing, I love being outside, exercising, and playing video games.
